The tuna giants are still in the north of Mallorca – and can be caught! A guest on the MAD MAX of Capt. Vince Riera experienced the fight of his life on Thursday (June 27th): Half a dozen huge echoes showed up on the fishfinder when one of the 130 reels already sounded an “alarm”. According to Vinz, the tuna took 700 m of line in the first run. Fishing was done with up to 80 lb brake. One hour later guest Igor and Vinz could pull the fish on board before the release for a quick photo. According to the length-weight formula he weighed about 322 kg! – Next week Vince will have a few more days for quick decision makers.
